5 ways to strengthen your immune system

We can stay away from infections when our immune system functions well.

It is for our immune system to protect us from sicknesses and help us to get back to wellness when something gets us.

We have to remember though that building immunity is a process that takes time.

Power of zinc

Zinc is an element that supports our immune system all the way through. It is vital though to keep its stable levels in our bodies, not necessarily taking any tablets.

We can “smuggle” it in through our diet.

The best way is to serve ourselves a zinc-heavy meal.

It can be as simple as egg and chives on rye bread for breakfast, brown rice with chicken liver, and apples with garden peas salad for dinner. Or you can serve yourself with hummus for supper and pumpkin seeds as a snack throughout the day.

Take care of your bowels

Our intestines are a factory of our immunity. Everything starts here. It is up to our intestine condition if we will always be catching infections or if we will stay resistant to their viral actions.

It is important to prevent dysbiosis, which simply stands for balance in our bowels, and to care for tightening our intestinal barrier. The greatest impact hides in chronic stress, bin-like foods, and taking large amounts of medicine or supplements.

Regular intake of probiotics can help us improve the condition of our intestines by creating a unique bowel microbiome.

Make sure you are taking good quality and high potency products.

We should especially focus on those that protect our intestinal barrier. Amongst those will be Bifidobacterium Lactis and Lactobacillus Brevis.

Get back to the roots

Use your imagination and get back to our grandma’s pantries. We can find tonnes of value there. We can prepare tasty, immunity-boosting meals out f them.

It is a low-cost injection of vitamins and a warranty for good body condition during the autumn and winter season.

Keep eating horseradish, parsley, celery, reddish, and turnip.

A fantastic source of natural probiotics and vitamins B, C, A, E, and K, plus magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium can be found in products like sauerkraut and sour cucumbers.

They make sure our immune system works in full swing.

Strengthen yourself in the shower.

It’s easy and it can be done daily without the risk of a thermal shock or stressing out about frozen shower sprints.

It is enough that at the end of your regular shower time, you will decrease the temperature of your water to cool and spray it all over your body for a few seconds only, You can also treat your feet only to a cold water “bath” - that is also counted in seconds, so perhaps showering will be just enough.

That kind of treatment will improve our blood circulation and as a result, leads to increased immunity.

Make a friendship with vitamin D and iron.

Lack of iron leads to anemia and also makes our body weaker.

Anemia can be caused simply by an unbalanced diet.

We tend to eat a lot of worthless products that give us loads of empty calories, making us obese instead of nourishing us.

To even out iron levels, we can take doctor-prescribed supplements.

During the high infection season, we should also remember about intake of

vitamin D.

.We can look into fish oils or other, convenient to us forms of it.

You can also consider implementing a

Clean Eating and experience a stronger immune system from the get-go.
